In public liberties and human rights

• He has been delegated in 1996 to preside over the Defense Committee of Public Liberties and Human Rights at the Bar which included a selection of lawyers.
  This committee tackled all issues such as the national sovereignty, the missing persons, the public liberties, particularly the media information, eavesdropping, the Criminal Procedure Code, the issue of Israeli attacks on Gaza and helped to review the Palestinian Authority before the International Criminal Court.
  It also tackled the Israeli aggression on Lebanon in 2007 by its whole available means, particularly drawing up a documentary report with all its international barbarous crimes and which was adopted in the Human Rights Council.
  The committee is still working up to date.
